Yazlin Juarez
Yazlin Juarez, a META Scholarship recipient and UCSC literature graduate, passionately pursues storytelling and diversity through her active involvement in the arts and community. She has been instrumental in marketing the First Annual Los Angeles Street Poetry Festival, where she will lead a Collaborative Storytelling workshop, and played a key role in launching the Latino Theater Company’s blog, Echoes of the Scene. During her fellowship at the Los Angeles Review of Books Publishing Workshop, Yazlin developed her publishing skills and contributed her poem "Decompose" to PubLab Issue 7. She is currently enhancing her performance abilities through Get Lit's Creative Career Lab, building on her experience from the 2019 Classic Slam.
